Emmet began touring with the international Irish music group, Celtic Thunder. Over the years, Emmet has enjoyed touring throughout the United States, Canada and Australia with Celtic Thunder. Individually and with the group, Emmet has appeared on many radio and TV shows such as PBS, QVC and the Today Show and most notably by special invitation for the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
As a soloist, Emmet has performed in Dublin at the Gaiety Theater, the National Concert Hall, Croke Park for crowds of 90,000, for the President of Ireland, and regularly at the Mullingar Cathedral. Various prestigious venues that include churches, festivals, and a sold out church concert tour in 12 US cities last December
Emmet was awarded the ‘John McCormack Bursary’ for most promising young tenor and named “Most Promising Young Singer” at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. In addition, he is a multiple prizewinner at the National Feis Ceoil singing competition in Ireland. He was chosen to perform at a special concert for the president of Ireland in 2009. He was named ‘Irish tenor of the Year by the Irish American Music association in 2013, and made his debut at Carnegie Hall in March 2018
